CC's Director Ladeja named Visiting Professor at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan

Life can sometimes take us on unexpected journeys and this one is pretty special. CC’s Founder and Director Ladeja Godina Košir has been invited to serve as a Visiting Professor at Doshisha University in Kyoto Japan. She will focus on contributing a chapter to the follow-up of the Kyoto Manifesto for Global Economics. Her task will be to connect the author’s comprehensive vision of an equitable, sustainable and humane global economy with the model of circular economy, based on her rich experience in developing a “circular culture” in Slovenia and beyond.

Ladeja’s professorship marks another step in our efforts to bring Japan and the EU closer together in the field of sustainability, innovation and culture. Our wish is to accelerate knowledge exchange and learn from the Japanese approach to long-term sustainability and stability and business and in the society. Professor Tadashi Jagi from the Department of Economics, Doshisha University was invited as a speaker at thr 4th Circular Change Conference, where he introduced his own model of "polyphonic creation”. He was introduced by the Ambassador of Japan in Slovenia H.E. Mr. Masaharu Yoshida, who highlighted the potential of exchanging best practices and and mentioned the rising amount of investments of Japanese companies in Slovenia.
