Development of the circular economy roadmap in Kosovo – first workshop
As the process of the development of the circular economy roadmap in Kosovo has successfully taken off - with our partners from Deloitte BiH and under the auspices of UNDP Kosovo - the workhop with the stakeholders from the private sector was organized by AmCham Kosovo on June 10th, during the Kosovo Sustainable Development Week.
The workshop was facilitated by Ladeja Godina Košir, Founder and Executive Director at Circular Change and Marco Segovia Bifarini, Project Manager, Circular Change.
Opening remarks were delivered by Maria Suokko, Resident Representative, UNDP Kosovo, Florije Tahiri, Senior Officer for Waste Treatment, MESPI and Arian Zeka, Executive Director of AmCham.
The business-focused workshop with the circular frontrunners from Kosovo as part of the Circular Economy Roadmap's journey focused on introducing the roadmap concept and starting the discussion towards Kosovo CE potentials.
The aim was to ensure the voices of the private sector are heard, to discuss circular business opportunities and the challenges the businesses face when transitioning to a circular economy, as the multi-stakeholder engagement has a crucial role in the process of the circular economy roadmap development.
