World Climate Summit: The Investment COP26

Organised by World Climate Foundation, World Climate Summit - The Investment COP 2021 is recognised as one of the most important official side events of COP26.

World Climate Summit - The Investment COP serves as a global leaders forum for climate action - and transaction - where ‘top-level’ stakeholders from government, business and finance meet to discuss climate change solutions alongside the COP26 negotiations. In 2021, it will focus on stepping up the climate ambition and achieving the net-zero emissions economy - framed in the context of the Paris Agreement and kickstarting the global economy post-COVID-19 with a green climate agenda before 2030. World Climate Summit is a must-attend event for all stakeholders driving the leading global climate solutions, investments and policies.

Throughout the last 10 years, the Summit has become a key platform for driving policies, projects, and public-private partnerships alongside COP. In 2019, World Climate Summit - The Investment COP attracted nearly 700 organisations from 95 different countries and over 1000 international leaders who shared cross-sectoral insights and urged for stronger climate commitments.

The Summit is expertly positioned to support the Global Climate Action Agenda with its unique focus on private sector solutions and has been a long-time advocate of the multi-stakeholder and public-private partnership approach to climate change issues.
