For the occasion of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, CECOLAB (Collaborative Laboratory for Circular Economy) was invited by the Portuguese Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education, of the Government of Portugal, to organize an International Conference within the context of Circular Economy.
Entitled "Europe: a Knowledge & Science Bridge Towards a Global Circular Economy", the Conference will take place on the 20th and 21st of April, and will be the first major International Conference on Circular Economy, to take place in Portugal.
The Conference thus intends to contribute to the increase of cooperation between Europe, Africa and Latin America, with regard to Circular Economy, and will count on the presence of 25 internationally renowned specialists.
The Welcome Session of the Conference will be in charge of the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Professor Doctor Manuel Heitor, and the closing session will be in charge of the Minister of Territorial Cohesion, Professor Doctor Ana Abrunhosa.
