ECESP Annual Conference 2023: Recovery, Open Strategic Autonomy and Resilience


 

The European Economic and Social Committee and the European Commission will host the 2023 European Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference in February 2023.

The conference will take place on 27-28 February in hybrid mode and will focus on the role of the circular economy in driving sustainable recovery, open strategic autonomy and resilience.

Day 1 will be hosted by the Commission and explore issues such as innovative regulations and initiatives in the context of, among others, the circular economy, EU recovery and resource independence. 

Ladeja G. Košir will participate in the first panel that day, titled A key year for the circular economy to foster resource efficiency.

First plenary on the Day 1.

Day 2 will be organised by the EESC and discuss biodiversity and climate and resilience for Europe.

Circular change will lead the session 1D - Addressing climate change and biodiversity through network governance and circular diplomacy with ambition to present the role of network governance and circular diplomacy to embrace climate change and biodiversity.
