Belgrade's hip and circular Mikser Festival: CIRKULIŠI!

Upon the invitation of Maja Lalić, Founder of the Mikser Association, and a speaker at the 4th Circular Change Conference, we visited the 10th edition of the festival Mikser, dedicated to design, arts, music, creative discussions and this year - to circular economy. Ladeja Godina Košir shared our experiences on crafting the Roadmap Towards the Circular Economy in Slovenia to our Serbian friends, who are starting their own “road towards the Roadmap”. This was not the only Slovenian intervention, as Tjaša Ficko, Deputy Mayor of the City of Ljubljana presented Ljubljana’s journey toward becoming the European Green Capital of 2016.

The festival also benefited from the presence of international organisations such as SITRA, World Economic Forum, Ellen MacArthur Foundation and proved that the Western Balkans can truly serve as hotspot for creative and sustainable thinking.
