Circular Change to host two panel discussions at Bled Strategic Forum 2019
The 2019 edition of Slovenia’s top-level conference on various topic related to foreign policy and international cooperation Bled Strategic Forum will be strongly marked by sustainability and circular economy. Titled “(Re)sources of (In)stability”, the two-day conference will address a variety of pressing issues and attempt to sketch out a new vision of global cooperation for sustainability.
Ladeja Godina Košir, Director and Founder of Circular Change, and Chari of the CG of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform will moderate two high-level discussion, featuring some of the most prominent personalities.
The first panel, titled “Let’s talk about sustainability” will take place on September 2nd at 17.15 and will begin with a keynote speech by Prof Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the Center for Sustainable Development. The panel discussion will include Dr Andrea Illy, Chairman, illycaffè S.p.A., and Dr Janez Potočnik, Co-Chair, UNEP International Resource Panel and Chair of Circular Change’s Honorary Council.
The second panel, called Climate Change – Saving the Planet by Going Circular - In partnership with Circular Change will be carried out on Tuesday, September 3 at 11.30. After the keynote by H.E. Mr Pekka Haavisto, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland, 9 panelists will discuss the future of circular economy.
