Bin@Porto 2021: innovation event and a new partnership

“As a newcomer to the Bin@Porto I immediately felt like “coming home”. The values, energy, mindset – everything resonates so much with what I, as a passionate networker and circular-changemaker, nourish and implement.” Ladeja G. Košir

The Business & Innovation Network (BIN@) Annual Event BIN@PORTO 2021 in October was an exciting networking opportunity to connect with academia, science & technology parks, incubators, tech based firms, investors, and many others. Ladeja G. Košir of Circular Change participated as a keynote speaker at this unique innovation event, joining 350+ delegates over 3 interactive days.

“We do not have all the answers, but we do have each other. Based on trust and transparency, spiced with systemic approach, NOW we have the unique opportunity to use all available “Green Recovery” resources (financial, human, natural) to co-create a prosperous, circular and sustainable future. We are the people we have been waiting for.” said Ladeja.

Beatriz Luz of Exchange4Change, Brazil, reflected: “BIN@Porto gives us the inspiration to continue with our journey bringing new ideas and people together. it gives us the opportunity to share knowledge and evaluate joint solutions that can be turned into real projects for the next edition. Circularity is about people, values and processes. You will only understand the full potential by doing it. By working together we can create such a powerful collective intelligence that can demonstrate the potential of the circular mindset and new business opportunities.”

BIN@ is an international network of academic and industry partners engaged in supporting open innovation and the creation of sustainable forum for sharing good practices and opportunities in innovation. It was founded by 3 universities: Porto, Sheffield and São Paulo. BIN@ has currently around 4000 delegates worldwide.

As of November 2021, we are very excited to join the BIN@ international network as an Associate Partner and thus contribute to sharing of knowledge, good practices, and promotion of open innovation.  Our new partnership will advance, differentiate even further and expand the activities and ventures that BIN@ - Business & Innovation Network is able to offer and deliver to its delegates, partners, collaborators.

We are very much looking forward to the future common undertakings.
