Circular Economy Master Course at the Faculty of Economics

In November 2022, the University of Ljubljana School of Economics and Business (SEB LU) organized a master course on circular economy for international students.

The course was led by Ladeja G. Košir, founder and director of Circular Change, Institute for Circular Economy. There were plenty of practical cases on the curricula, including cases based on the Institute’s collaboration with Sitra, Jacqueline Cramer, Janez Potocnik, Ema Perme, Karin Huber-Heim, Tanja Subotić Levanič, The HEINEKEN Company, Giulio Bonazzi, project EFFECTIVE, PSLifestyle Project, Lumar hiše, Matea Benedetti, European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, Climate-KIC, Bart Stegeman, Fundación Eurochile, Linnet Solway, Exchange 4 Change Brasil, Beatriz Luz, NLB d.d., Alenka Recelj Mercina, Deloitte, The European House-Ambrosetti, Chatham House, Doshisha University and many more.

International students are full of out of the box ideas how to adjust our current, mostly linear, business models with more circular ones. And they understand the urge for a radical collaboration.
— Ladeja G. Košir

The feedback from students and the SEB LU was very positive, which is why we are sure there will be plenty more circular economy courses in Slovenia.
