BIN@PORTO 2021: White Paper ‘Building Block for the Future’
The final and consolidated takeaway from the annual event BIN@PORTO 2021 - White Paper ‘Building Blocks for the Future’ - has just been published.
In the document, the reflections of invited specialists who contributed with their expertise and experience to each thematic pillar of the event, Society – Circularity – Health & Well-being, have been collected in the collective effort to co-create a sustainable, green, resilient future for all through innovation and collaboration.
Among those who contributed their valuabe insights and knowledge at their respective fields are: Leonardo Ortega (Enterprise Estonia), Robert Krimmer (University of Tartu), Glenn Cezanne (Time & Place Consulting, CharIN e.V.), Violeta Bulc (Ecocivilisation), Beatriz Luz (Exchange 4 Change Brazil), Ladeja G. Košir (Circular Change), Ana Barros (Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS), Terry Huang (CUNY, Firefly Innovation) and João Transmontano (Entogenex Europe).
Ladeja Godina Košir reflects on the role of the Circular triangle (Economy, Culture, Change) in the post-crises era of paradigm shift and in rebuilding our society on new foundations based on the values of circularity, community and emancipation.
The White paper summons the ideas and topics presented under various pillars to make up a holistic and organic ensemble, able to demonstrate the connecting points between the themes covered, reflecting, thus, the interconnectedness of our human existence on this planet.
