Kickoff of the BOOST4BIOEAST project
Circular Change joined the kickoff of the BOOST4BIOEAST project on January 31st, a collaborative effort among Central Eastern European countries and the Baltics under the BIOEAST framework.
With 24 macroregional partners, including public institutions, research bodies, and NGOs, and 6 international partners such as the European Forest Institute and the Irish Bioeconomy Foundation, the project aims to propel the bioeconomy's development through a network of national bioeconomy hubs.
Circular Change has been appointed as the Hub coordinator for Slovenia with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture. These hubs will act as focal points for bioeconomy-related activities, fostering national and macro-regional cooperation. Key areas of focus include establishing national platforms, facilitating knowledge transfer and networking activities, capacity building, promoting interministerial collaboration, and developing action plans to inform bioeconomy policies.
