Circular Change Celebrated World Book Day and Earth Day with a Unique Book Swap Event

This year, we took a novel approach to celebrate both World Book Day and Earth Day by giving beloved stories a new home. The event was organized within the PSLifestyle project, where the Slovenian partners are Circular Change and the City of Ljubljana.

On April 22, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we hosted a book swap at the Mission 100 Info Point. It was a fantastic opportunity for community members to give their previously-read books a new lease on life and to discover their next great reads. Participants brought books they no longer needed and swapped them with ones brought by other attendees.

In addition to swapping books, attendees also had the opportunity to use the PSL web application to calculate their personal carbon footprints for free at the event. For those who were eager to learn about their environmental impact before the event, the PSLifestyle app was available online at https://pslifestyle-app.net/.

We were thrilled to see such enthusiastic participation at the book exchange, which helped us mark these two significant days in a way that promoted environmental consciousness and community engagement.
