Click and Feel - The Spirit & Energy of the 3rd Circular Change Conference Captured in a Short Video

65 international speakers and more than 400 participants from 15 countries gathered in sLOVEnia on 10 and 12 May to exchange circular economy achievements and lessons learned. Two exciting days in two old monasteries!

On Day 1 Kostanjevica na Krki, Božidar Jakac Art Gallery was the best possible venue to bridge circular business and circular art. The celebration of creativity as an important element of circular transition has been demonstrated by unique LandArd Exhibition – a collaboration between the Netherlands (Lia Stravens and Dutch artists) and Slovenia (Božidar Jakac Art Galery and Slovenian artists). Mate Benedetti Fashion Performance impressed the audience by presenting ethical and sustainable brand linked to the concept of beauty, luxury, and innovation. Panel discussions and “pitching” of Slovenian best practices followed by an exhibition of circular economy projects emphasized the link between circular and biobased economy.

On Day 2 Maribor, Puppet’s Theatre hosted vivid discussions on national circular economy roadmaps, opportunities as well as challenges for a successful circular transition. Opening keynote by Dr. Janez Potočnik (Former EU Commissioner) and Joss Bleriot (Ellen MacArthur Foundation) was followed by Slovenian Prime Minister Dr. Miro Cerar, what set the scene for 6 national CE roadmaps that have been introduced. Panel discussion on EU challenges and interactive sessions in the afternoon concluded with the motivational speech by Sara Isaković, Silver Olympic Medalist in Swimming.
