Circular Change co-created the BLUEfasma report together with Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, as part of the creation of the National Circular Economy Roadmap.

Montenegro is in the preparatory process for the creation of the National Circular Economy Roadmap. The first workshop took place in spring 2020, recognizing food sector as one of the priority areas where circular economy shall be implemented. For the purpose of developing this report, there has been another Workshop organized and co-hosted by Circular Change on 8 September 2020 in Kotor, Montenegro.

BLUEfasma project can play a significant role in enabling different stakeholders to start their transformational journey towards a circular economy, bringing several benefits – from more efficient use of local resources, healthier aquatic ecosystems and more resilient economies, to the creation of more added value at the local level and new jobs.

This report has been developed under the INTERREG MED 2014-2020 BLUEfasma project, within the framework of the activity “3.5 Testing the CE readiness index in MED area”.
