5TH Circular Change Conference #Event 2/5 - BSF 2020

The second event of our 5th Circular Change Conference has come to an end! We are very proud to have welcomed attendees from more than 40 countries!

We had the pleasure to host outstanding speakers, circular economy experts, who emphasized the need for systemic transition, collaboration, implementation of the Green Deal and green recovery program, with concrete proposals.

Andrej Vizjak, Slovenian Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning and Tone Kajzer, State Secretary, Slovenian Ministry of the Foreign Affairs, both shared powerful messages on behalf of the Slovenian government, about the need for identifying and supporting the green transition, which is the priority of the EU.

Kirsten Dunlop, CEO at ClimateKIC inspired us with her welcoming note, focusing on "3 key ingredients" of systemic transition: abundance, participation, pragmatism.

Panel 1: Freek van Eijk, Iain Gulland, Nick Bridge and Barna Kovács shared successful stories, based on real facts and positive economic, environmental, and societal impact, proving that the circular economy and bio-economy solutions are contributing to the sustainable development and thriving future for everyone!

Panel 2: Cliona Howie del Río, Janja Kreitmayer McKenzie, Mojca Markizeti and Gregor Skender presented sustainability transformations in Slovenia from strategies to concrete circular economy business solutions.

Special thanks to our partner - Bled Strategic Forum, Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Slovenian Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning, agency Luna \TBWA and to all our speakers, partners, staff members and participants.
