Active Participation at the Presidential Forum on Sustainable Transformations in Food Systems
On November 10, 2023, President of the Republic of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, organized the Presidential Forum titled "Sustainable Transformations in Food Systems and Achieving Food Sovereignty." Emphasizing the critical nature of food sovereignty and self-sufficiency, President Pirc Musar stated in her opening remarks,
"The question of food sovereignty and self-sufficiency is whether we will have food and what kind it will be."
The primary objective of this Presidential Forum was to explore concrete solutions, followed by collaborative implementation with the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, aimed at strengthening food sovereignty within the country.
