The Season of Ljubljana Circular Talks Is Open Again
Welcoming Spring with a Greener Outlook
The first day of spring marked the launch of a new season of the Ljubljana Circular Talks, a space for inspiring conversations on sustainable living in urban environments. To celebrate the occasion, Ladeja Godina Košir sat down with Melita Miš Strgar, an expert from Arboretum Volčji Potok, to discuss how each of us can create our own small green oasis—no matter where we live.
From window boxes to indoor plants and thoughtfully chosen bouquets, the conversation offered numerous practical tips for integrating more greenery into our daily lives. The discussion also touched on the emotional and environmental benefits of surrounding ourselves with plants, as well as guidance on choosing species that are both beautiful and sustainable.
The full conversation is now available on YouTube and you can watch it here.
About the Ljubljana Circular Talks
The Ljubljana Circular Talks is a set of curated discussions hosted by Ladeja Godina Košir, designed to explore different aspects of circular and sustainable living. The focus is on building upon Ljubljana’s already strong sustainability initiatives by introducing ideas that are simple, actionable, and impactful for individuals.
Each guest brings a unique perspective and set of insights—ranging from green living and food systems to materials, health, and design—offering concrete steps anyone can take to contribute to a more circular way of life.
These conversations are held at the Ljubljana on the Path to Carbon Neutrality information point at Pogačarjev trg. This central location reinforces the city’s commitment to sustainability and serves as a public hub for learning, dialogue, and active participation in shaping a carbon-neutral future.
The Ljubljana Circular Talks are part of the PSLifestyle project, co-organized by Circular Change and supported by the UP-SCALE project, with the aim of inspiring communities to embrace sustainable practices in practical, accessible ways.
