Fashion Going Circular: Wolford AG's Biological Cycles Product Becomes Gold Cradle to Cradle Certified™

On 20 June 2018, Wolford AG received a Cradle to Cradle™ certificate for their Biological Cycles product which includes legwear, tights, hosiery, lingerie, bodysuits, shapewear and more. This product was designed with biological and/or technical cycles in mind. To receive the gold certificate, the second-highest certificate, the product had to meet a plethora of criteria within five overarching categories including material health, material reutilization, renewable energy and carbon management, water stewardship, and social fairness. The product received gold in all these categories except for material health where it received platinum which is the top certifiable level. In 2020, the product will be reassessed since the certificate is only valid for two years.
