The Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of the University of Maribor in cooperation with SRIP - Circular Economy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Štajerska and the National Institute of Chemistry will once again organize an international scientific research, professional and development conference Technologies and Business Models for Circular Economy - TBMCE 2022, which will take place from September 12 to 14 at the Grand Hotel Portorož.
During the expert panel discussion “Circular bioeconomy: potentials in Slovenia?” Mr. Edi Kraus of Aquafil will introduce the results of the EU project EFFECTIVE and its applications.
For the fifth consecutive year, TBMCE will bring together representatives from business, research and educational institutions, trade associations, and governmental and non-governmental organizations. We will listen to distinguished speakers and enjoy insightful content prepared by Slovenian and foreign experts in their fields.

TBMCE topics will address the current challenges of technological development and the responsibility of society on its transition from fossils to renewables, from linear to circular. We will discuss trends, exchange ideas, share best practices and the latest knowledge on technologies and business models for the circular economy.
