A conference on the draft National Plan for Recovery and Resilience, Brdo pri Kranju, March 26th, 2021

Ladeja G. Košir participated at the conference on the draft National Recovery and Resilience Plan, prepared by the Standing Consultative Committee on Climate Policy and chaired by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, at Brdo pri Kranju, on March 26th.
This was a great opportunity for an inclusive and argumentative discussion on the draft plan with the aim to find out where the Plan is good and where it is lacking, hear suggestions and invite authorities to listen and comment.
The conference was attended by 14 eminent scientists, experts, representatives of the economy and non-governmental organizations. The conference was also attended by the Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning, Mag. Andrej Vizjak, State Secretary at the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs, who heads the task force for the preparation of the draft Plan, and Blaž Košorok, State Secretary at the Ministry of Infrastructure.
Ladeja G. Košir proposed a systemic, multi/transdisciplinary approach to understand the key development areas in the context of the system interactions and interdependencies that will help us create a resilient future better for all of us.
“Let this document strengthen the confidence that once this money is here, we will use it so that the citizens of Slovenia will live a better life.”
At the end of the conference, President Pahor assessed the consultation as very useful.
